Getting to an Appointment Can Be Its Own Task
You might live in Calgary and still struggle to fit a drive across the city around your workday. If you live farther away, travel can take much more time than the appointment itself. Or you'd rather not meet indoors and would prefer to get some steps and fresh air at the same time as your session. Explore our walk and talk therapy options.
Health concerns may make the journey harder on some days. Or you may have been putting off asking for help because there never seems to be a good week to start.
Online appointments let you meet from a suitable private space in Alberta. Set aside time when you can speak openly and give the conversation your attention.
Work on the Patterns That Are Wearing You Down
Our clinicians help with concerns that include:
Anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts
Perfectionism and overthinking
Motherhood, reproductive and hormonal mental health concerns
Insomnia and the psychological impact of health concerns
Your psychologist will talk with you about what has been happening and explain the approach they recommend. The work can include understanding a recurring worry pattern and practicing a different response between appointments.

Questions About Online Therapy in Alberta
Do I have to live in Calgary?
You can ask about online care from elsewhere in Alberta. Your eligibility depends on your location during appointments, the psychologist’s authorization to provide care there and whether online therapy suits your needs. Let us know where you’ll be when arranging a consultation.
Can I arrange appointments around work or caregiving?
You can view the appointment options offered through Jane and ask about scheduling during the consultation. Choose a time when you can participate privately for the full appointment. Current availability will be confirmed when booking.
Can I keep my appointments if I travel outside Alberta?
Speak with your psychologist before attending from another province or country. The authorization needed depends on where you’ll physically be during the appointment. We’ll discuss whether the appointment can go ahead from that location.
Can I use my insurance benefits?
Coverage depends on your benefit plan and the psychologist you see. Ask your insurer about virtual psychological services and any provider requirements. Current fees and cancellation information are on our Fees & FAQs page.
